Is It Xiaomi’s 64-Bit Redmi 2 Makes A Visit To TENAA In China?

Now that yet another new Xiaomi smartphone has passed through the TENAA with a couple of images and a glance of specs. Looks much like the first Redmi 1S smartphone, but could prove to be its successor – dubbed Redmi 2s.

Specifications goes with a 4.7-inch 720p display and powered by a 64-bit SoC (apparently packs a Snapdragon 410) clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Paired with 1GB of RAM, also includesan 8GB ROM with expandable microSD card slot, sporting a 8-megapixel rear camera, also houses a 2MP front sensor. It is backed up by a 2,220mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box with a dual-SIM standby functionality.

Mysterious Xiaomi smartphone listing also revealed that the Redmi 2 has three red-colored capacitive keys under the screen as customary to Xiaomi’s phones. Power button and volume rocker are on the right side, and got an LED flash underneath 8MP shooter and a speaker grille integrated to the left of it.

Rumors also points that the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will pack LTE (TD-LTE and LTE FDD) alongside WCDMA. Expected to weigh around 134 grams.

The Xiaomi Redmi 2 alleged to arrive in Black, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple color options. Priced at RMB599-699 (around $100), respectively.
