iPhone 8 Rumors: Next-Gen iPhone To Feature Bezel-Less 5-Inch And Other With 5.8-Inch Curved OLED Screens

Analysts from Barclays Research suggests that Apple to entirely reinvent its iPhone range next year and have made it know.

As per the team of four, Cupertino-based Apple will look forward to reinvigorate and spark interest in next year’s iPhone by introducing a range that features a curved, bezel-free OLED display that once again puts the focus on Apple’s industry leading product design architecture.

It is also speculated that Apple could also introduce the same edgeless 10.9-inch ipad Pro next year alongside iPhone 8. The information that we are taking care has been trust into the public domain by the Barclays Research team after a recent trip to Asis where they met and discussed Apple’s plans with some of it more prominent supply chain figureheads.

The team includes Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O’Malley and Jerry Zhang. Suggests that the new 2017 hardware will ship with 5-inch and 5.8-inch displays compared to current 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models, but will still be able to retain the same overall physical size as the now selling iPhone 7 due to the technology and design perspective used to produce a bezel-free display experience.

Larger and Bezel-less – iPhone 8 design didn’t sound 100% locked down but we believe the move is to a bezel-less design with screen sizes getting larger and curved edges in the original envelope. The iPhone 8 moves to 5″ (from 4.7″) and the Plus moves to 5.8″ (from 5.5″).

What’s more interesting you here is that the potential to gran additional screen real estate while keeping the same physical size by moving across to bezel-free display design isn’t as possible, but the sources appear to be claiming that it will only be the larger 5.8-inch device that utilizes OLED display technology. That would mean that not only will the larger iPhone 8 model offer up a visual experience that’s sharper and brighter than its smaller brother and the introduction of organic light emitting diodes are more energy efficient.

This latest information seems to corroborate earlier reports from KGI Securities and Nikkei, both of which had suggested larger devices with OLED tech as a differentiating prospect. The idea and rumor behind a bezel-free iPhone has been around for some time now, it’s really only a matter of time until that actually happens.

So, it looks as though an iPhone with even larger display is coming, and Apple will ultimately using OLED technology across. But will we see an iPhone next year that entirely removes the iconic Touch ID/Home button in favor of a solution built into the display? Researchers thinks not.
