Photos purported to show the Samsung‘s flagship Galaxy S7 smartphone model with a 5.7-inch display, which is expected to be officially introduced in February 2016. It seems like the South Korean electronics preparing another duo of Samsung Galaxy S7 flagships. Leaked S7 Edge+ specs confirms new camera setup, Snapdragon 820 chipset option and more.
New batch of Galaxy S7 rumors surfaced, and tipped at another variant of the hardware, including the basic one with a 5.1-inch screen, S7 edge at 5.5-inch and a couple of 6.0-inchs hints at Galaxy S7 Plus and S7 Edge+ respectively.
Now that yet another report suggests a hardware info app, running on a Samsung SM-G93, said to be the Galaxy S7 edge Plus. For straters the display is listed as being 5.7-inch in diagonal with a QHD resolution of 2k. This time around, the photo specifically lists the phone’s GPU as the Adreno 530, which won’t be the Samsung’s won Exynos 8 Octa 8890, said to power the Galaxy S7, as it uses the Mali-T880M12.
Memory is listed at 4GB of RAM and the camera setup, on the other hand looks entirely new. The primary shooter has a 12.2MP sensor. Codenamed BRIGHTCELL, and it is an ambitious endeavor that aims to improve low-light reduction by cutting down on the resolution and equips a large 1/2-inch sensor size, whichg resiults in much larger pixels.
Everything is fair when speaking about the yet-unannounced ones from OEMs like Samsung and Sony and more information will be revealed as the aforementioned new Galaxy S7 launch draws closer to a release date, hopefully be as early as February 21.
