Lava has today launched two new Z10 and Z25 smartphones in the company’s latest ‘Z’ series line. Both the Lava Z10 and the Lava Z25 are the new comers into the Indian market, which are promoted to be one of the best mid-range but with an expensive price tag. Here’s everything we know so far about the two new Lava Z10 and Lava Z25 smartphones.
Both the newly launched Lava smartphones touts with an 8-megapxel front-facing selfie camera with LED flash support. When you look at the design, the Lava Z10 comes with 1.9mm narrow bezel while the Lava Z25 with 2mm narrow bezel, also has a fingerprint scanner embedded on the back for unlocking the phone in just 0.16 seconds.
The top-end Lava Z25 model also comes with a metal unibody design and equipped with a Hybrid SIM slot, whereas the Lava Z10 only has a removable metal back cover and a dedicated dual-SIM slot. The new smartphones utterly has support for 11 Indian languages and has a different screen sizes, CPU, RAM and storage capacities. These smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on top of Star OS 3.3
Lava Z10 Specifications
In brief, the Lava Z10 features a 5-inch HD Full Lamination (1280×720) resolution display. Under the hood, the Lava Z10 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor alongside Mali-T720 GPU. Memory-wise, the Lava Z10 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD acrd up to 128GB.
On the photography department, you will find a n 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.4um pixel size, 5P Largan lens, f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, as aforementioned, the Lava Z10 has an 8MP f/2.2 aperture camera with flash support and 1.4um pixel size. There’s a 3.5mm audio headphone jack, FM radio and other connectivity options, including 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and more. The whole Lava Z10 is packing a 2650mAh battery.
Lava Z25 Specifications
The high-end model here is the Lava Z25, which sports a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display at a 1280×720 pixels resolution. The Lava Z25 is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor, Mali T860 GPU. Unlike the Z10, the Lava Z25 memory comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage supports up to 128GB.
The Lava Z25 is also incorporated with a Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD) card support, where you can simply use another SIM or a SD card if you like to. Camera on the Lava Z25 rear-facing is of 13MP Sony IMX258 Exmor RS sensor offers PDAF, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. While the front-facing camera of 8MP on its front also has a LED flash, f/2.0 aperture is useful for video calls and selfies. It has the embedded fingerprint sensor and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity options, including WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, etc. The Lava Z25 packs a 3020mAh battery on the other hand.
Price and Release Date
Colors you will get for the Lava Z10 is Gold only and will be available at Rs. 11,500 (MRP). While the Lava Z25 comes in Champagne Gold and Grey colors, which is is priced at Rs 18,000 (MRP). Both the Lava Z10 and Lava Z25 will become available in select retail stores in Delhi starting March 23rd, follows to other cities in the near future.
Note: The smartphones also come with one-time mobile screen replacement for an year and with a ’30 Day Replacement Policy’ where consumers will get a replacement with a new device in case if the hardware is damaged within a span of 30 day time period, when purchased.
Conclusion: Would you prefer to buy either Lava Z10 or Lava Z25? After considering all the configurations, we has our choice now. No one here goes with the two smartphone, because, of their price. You can get a Xaiomi Redmi Note 4 (Rs. 13000 for 4GB RAM), or even Redmi 4A at a price for just Rs 6,000 with 2GB RAM with VoLTE.
