A total of five new images has been leaked of the yet-unannounced LeEco LE X920 handset, surfaced allegedly online. These images show a device identical to the one that already shown up back in mid-December, with the only difference between the two being their color options. One of which leaked in late 2016 seemingly sported a pink case, but the newly emerged features a silver matte finish.
However, the latest set of 5 newly leaked images that depict the LE X920 seemingly corroborate previous rumors about the design of LeEco’s upcoming Android smartphone. The hardware in question apparently features relatively small bezels and lacks a physical Home button, not quite as OLED, in addition to boasting a single-lens main camera module and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The leaked device also indicate the LeEco LE X920 will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, which can be upgraded to Android Nougat version 7.0 in the latest upcoming update, but again, it’s not clear that whether the Chinese phone maker is planning to update the device to Nougat after the LE X920 launch, hits the market. But there’s more information on the matter will hopefully be available shortly.
In terms of specifications and the build quality, there’s not much to do but reiterate previous rumors surfaced long ago on the LE X920, according to various industry sources, LeEco’s next Android flagship will be equipped with a 6.3-inch WQHD display panel sporting a resolution of 2560-by-1440 pixels. The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 system-on-chip (SoC) and 4GB of RAM memory.
Additionally, the next-generation LeEco LE X920 to ship with 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable with the help of a microSD card slot. The Le X920 is also said to boast a dual speaker setup, a 23-megapixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel front shooter, as well as a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Battery package you will get with support of 3700mAh non-removable cell.
Some of the previous leaks suggesting that the LE X920 will be priced at approximately $200 in China, the actual price tag of the handset will likely be higher than that, which can be witnessed within some more days or weeks. There’s still no official word of confirmation made by LeEco on when the new smartphone will be released, but seeing how it’s been the subject today of numerous leaks and reports for more than three months now, it might already be hitting the market this spring.
