Although Lenovo confirmed the launch date for K8 Note smartphone in India on August 9. Today Amazon India has officially announced that it will be retailing (selling) the Lenovo K8 Note on its portal exclusively. And also teased the performance and camera aspects of phone as well. Skipping K7 Note, Lenovo planning to debut the successor to K6 Note in the country soon than later next week. Here are the details.
In terms of specifications, the K8 Note will be powered by 1.39GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, 4GB RAM and run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box, according to rumors and benchmark listing. When compared to K5 Note with Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, and the K6 Note switched to Snapdragon 430 chipset.
Recent teaser revealed something the company claimed about the phone as it will be more powerful one than the SD430 and Snapdragon 625. Similar to the K5/K6 Note, the Lenovo’s K8 Note will apparently coming with 1080p screen. Rest of the hardware keys and features internally are still hidden and mystery. In the benchmark test, the smartphone managed to achieve a score of 1,659 for the single core and 4,844 for multi cores.
Update x1: Lenovo India is aggressively promoting the upcoming Note series, the K8 Note. Now, the latest set of teasers hint at the K8 Note’s photographic chops.
The photo samples shared by Lenovo include all major models of shooting – Macro, Landscape and Portrait. Only one missing is the low-light photography shot.
‘Killer Photography’: Highlights:
The Portrait mode does show a blurry back, revealing that the phone will support the Bokeh effect, found on iPhone 7 Plus. Considering the launch invite shows up the number ‘8’ in metal frame, hinting at a dual camera setup.
The Landscape, Nature, Macro and City Shots show other features like the colors and exposure of the smartphone capacity. The images are in landscape and not portrait mode, thus confirming ate only teasers and will not be original wallpapers on the smartphone.
