Verizon LG G3 users are now reportedly getting the carrier’s new Advanced Calling feature through a software update that is currently being distributed over the air. The OTA release also brings a bundle of new updated apps, fixes some bugs, and as usual improves performance enhancements altogether.
No! It’s not an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade you’ve been waiting for, but it delivers welcome changes and improvements and the most significant of which is Advanced Calling ability. LG’s official name for HD voice, aka Voice-Over-LTE, which the company promises “natural-sounding calls” and video calling from within the built-in Phone app.
With the version “VS98512b” BUILD, additionally it brings updated versions of a long list of apps, which in fact includes My Verizon Mobile, Softcard Wallet (was ISIS), LGBackUp, Camera, LGLTECall, Email, Contacts, and Camera.
