Meizu M1 Note 2 (aka M2 Note) Leaks In Live Images, Just Ahead Of June 2 Unveiling

Although Meizu has sent out invitations for its upcoming launch event of a new product in China. Starts at 2:30 PM (12:00 PM IST) at China National Convention Center on June 2. Meizu would unveil the successor to the M1 Note in the form of Meizu M2 Note (or M1 Note 2) on June 2nd, 2015. However, Meizu has launched M1 Note in India, but available to buy starting May 20. Invites from Meizu doesn’t reveal any information about its upcoming gadget, but the company has hinted on its community site that it might announce a new phone in Blue Charm series, which might go with the launch of Meizu Blue Charm M series globally. Which is all set to go on sale as Meizu M1 Note in India on 20th May. As per the suggestion, Meizu could announce the Blue Charm Note 2 or MX5 at the hoting date on June 2.

Could be Meizu M2 Note? Leaked photo shows the alleged one sitting near to the Meizu MX4 Pro, that too running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop with FlyMe UI skin on top. Showing the similarities of the MX4 design. The home button shows up a makeover (redesigned) and is now in an oval shape instead going with a rectangular rounded corners.

Or be Meizu M1 Note 2? Speculated to not have a fingerprint sensor, which according to Meizu executive clarifies it doen’t got one. Point here is that Meizu is already working on yet another refreshed version, whatever it may be (M1 Note 2 or M2 Note). It looks like the new comer has the upgraded Home button, which is simply a design change, with no new functionality baked in.

What hardware changes the next Meizu Note will bring with it is still unknown. In terms of software, we can see that it’s going to run a version of Meizu’s FlyMe OS based on Android Lollipop 5.1. Pricing for the mysterous Meizu M Note will start at CNY 999 just like its predecessor. Translates into about $161 or €141 at the current exchange rates, and we have to see how it will effect the sales of the M1 Note in India.

Customers need to wait for the primetime release date timeframe which is indeed set to go on June 2, 2015 in China. All things will be announced there. Stay tuned!
