All this discussion comes through a Twitter chat with Snapdeal, Micromax has announced that it will be planning to debut a new smartphone that will be sold through the online retailer. Costs under Rs 6,000 and will take on Xiaomi’s most trending MIUI 6 powered Android handset – Redmi 2. According to the Tol reports, and Citing industry sources also suggests that the Micromax Android device will most likely be unveiled in the last week of April.
Hardware specs of the new smartphone lacks at the moment, but it is purported to pack a display sized between 4.3-5-inches and will be powered by a quad-core SoC. In its conversation on Twitter, Micromax does specified what actually the new smartphone is coming with, to be ‘nothing like anything’ and that ‘sparks are going to fly!’ indicating good specs at an affordable price.
