As expected, Microsoft has launched the dual-SIM version of Lumia 540 in India. New budget Windows Phone handset goes on sale starting May 18. Pre-bookings for Lumia 540 Dual SIM begins from Monday. More details on Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM specs, price can be found right after this jump.
It was announced back in April 2015, Lumia 540 Dula SIM packs a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Windows Phone 81. with Lumia Denim out of the box, which will be upgradable to Windows 10 when it becomes available later this year.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM is paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card support. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle 24mm lens, f/2.4 aperture on board.
It measures 144×73.69×9.35mm and weighs 152 grams and offers a Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS / aGPS connectivity options and it packs a 2200mAh battery. Available in Cyan, Orange, White and Matte Black colors.
