Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM And Lumia 640 XL, LTE Likely To Launch In India On April 7

So we can indeed expect all of these WP handsets to debut next week, which were unveiled at this years’ MWC keynote last month.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage – further expandable up to 128GB through microSD card.


It is a Dual SIM smartphone supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / aGPS and on the sofware front it runs Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim, upgradable to Windows 10 for Phones. Sports a 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and only a 1MP front-facing sensor and packs a 2500mAh battery.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is also a Dual SIM handset flaunts a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD ClearBlack IPS display. And lot of the hardware specs goes similar to the Lumia 640 DS, but this smartphone boasts a 13-Megapixel camera on its back and a 5MP selfie-centric sensor on its front and is backed by a 3000mAh battery, and offers 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / aGPS.


Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM variant also comes with a 5.7 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS LCD display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Includes 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G LTE support, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Denim update. Promised to be upgrdable to Windows 10 update.

It’s also said that these Miccosoft new Lumia 640, XL and Lumia 640 XL LTE smartphones will be go on sale via Flipkart. Listed already as April commission payouts, and the Lumia 640 listed under the exclusive category. Pricing is already speculated to start with a cost of Rs. 9999 as starting mark.
