Microsoft Lumia 840, 840 XL Hits India Shores For Testing; Reports

It was alleged that Microsoft is prepping to replace the Nokia Lumia 830 with Lumia 840 in April 2015, and today a pair of Lumia phones appears on Zauba‘s website – pointing the realestic Lumia 840 XL and Lumia 840. The website also shows a new import listing that shows up, both the Microsoft Lumia devices imported into India from Finland for testing purposes and could very well be the Lumia 840 or Lumia 840 XL. Details on the leaked Lumia devices can be grabbed right after this fold.

Listing however shows a total of four Lumias being imported into the country, and within them, 2 units of each variant – one being a dualSIM version and the other one is a single SIM holder, which is likely to guess at Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. But for testing, both the units have been imported.

The sizes of the devices are also shown in the listing though, one would go with a 5.7-inch – could be of the Lumia 840 XL, because it is a phablet sized variant, and the Lumia 840 will stand with the regular 5-inch screen. Since, we are not sure about which one is going for testing, but within day or two, we’ll be sharing some updates onthis news and cover additional information as well.

Both the Lumia 840/840 XL rumored to sport a 13-14MP PureView camera, 5MP selfie-centric front camera and will ship with Windows 8.1 GDR2 update out of the box, and later be upgradable to Windows 10 Mobile. And said to come with similar specificatioons, apart from the size and battery capacity.
