The latest iPhone 7 leaks reveals what replacing the headphone port and also suggests that the next iPhone of 2016 to launch with a new design and features. A new set of iPhone photos surfaced online showing off a larger camera, second speaker grills for the 4.7-inch model and a dual-lens camera setup for the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus variant.
Two new images have started circulating around the web, claiming to show the rear of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus which are bound to launch later this year.
Now that the iOS 10 has been out in a developer preview beta for almost two weeks, it’s clearly time to refocus attention back on Apple’s next-generation smartphone. Today’s leak can be traced back to the usual Chinese supply chain channel for Apple that purportedly confirms a camera module refresh on both models.
Leaked the images by Steve Hemmerstoffer, which are of iPhone’s machined casing that corroborates what has been rumored earlier. First of all, these images show larger camera module for the iPhone 7, expected and the dual cameras for iPhone 7 Plus. The aluminum casing for back of the phone is also witnessed. Also said that the rising aluminum case that’s seen around the camera bump is a waterproof one taken by Apple.
Widely corroborated via a number of predictions, the images show that the iPhone’s antenna bands have been relocated to the top and bottom of the rear case. This removes them from their current location as found on the iPhone 6s range. Interestingly, the images also seem to show a noticeably larger cut-out for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7’s camera module to sit in.
Suggested previously that the iPhone 7 will come with an improved camera experience to provide greater images in low-light conditions. The usual apertures for the microphone and LED flash are present, and expected, but it’s camera recess that really catches the eye.
This leaked image seems to confirm that with a cutout that could house a larger camera senor than the one found on 6S. As for 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, today’s images clearly shows a pill-shaped camera design on the rear of the Plus model capable of housing a dual-lens camera system, meaning that Apple will see that device as the flagship model.
Last but not least, the leaked image shows removal of the headphone jack and instead you can see second speaker grill. Speculated that the iPhone 7 could come with a dual-SIM card slots. It’s now just a matter of waiting until September to see what Apple actually announces. Said, the iPhone 7 production has kick started in China.
