OnePlus is going to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3, on June 14th and said to go on sale via Amazon.in from 15th of this month. You don’t ever need an invite this time, but the OnePlus 3 is not official yet, followed by today’s leak, where the phone passed through GFXBench. Confirmed some of the more significant specs from TENAA. Specifically, the 6GB of RAM paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Unlike with previous devices, the company is making OnePlus 3 relatively easy to get your hands on one. Announced that it will also be launching pop-up stores to let users try and buy the OnePlus 3 on the day of its launch. There’ll be seven events around the world on June 15th; in New York, Paris, London, Berlin, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore.
With that said, the OnePlus 3 will be available to purchase in India exclusively on Amazon from Wednesday, June 15 at 12:30 AM IST. Recently, OnePlus also offered Loop VR headsets on the same e-commerce portal for Re. 1 with additional shipping cost. Also giving away 30,000 Loop VR headsets globally and with today’s clarification, it has received close to one million registrations for the Virtual Reality on Amazon.in and sold out in under 5 seconds through Amazon’s app-only flash sale.
The first person who will be able to buy the phone, will be the VR users. As with the OnePlus 2, the OnePlus 3 will be introduced first via the company’s VR app, with those tuning in getting an exclusive two and a half hour window to buy the device before it’s made available on the company’s website.
Leaks suggest the handset will come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, SD820 processor, a USB Type-C port, and a new metallic body. With 16MP main camera weight 4K video and an 8MP/1080p selfie cam, 64GB of storage and Android 6.0 with Oxygen OS.
