Now that, OnePlus confirmed the 5T is real and is coming, boasting that its upcoming handset will keep the 3.5mm audio port that so many hold dear. As was the case with OnePlus users rely on 3.5mm headphones, and its own analysis almost 80% depends on it.

Furthermore, the OnePlus CEO also states the goal is to provide superior quality product experience and every single feature is added or removed will rely on the customer needs. For now, the company is sticking with the presence of the headphone jack on the OnePlus 5T would be a better consumer choice.

You can still find your choice some of best wireless earphones in the market, though, they cost more than expected. And it is priced even higher than the wired headphones. It also has the options for wireless audio experience with earbuds are limited too.

When compared, the 3.5mm port gives users the freedom to use the headphones of their own choice, rather restricting them to use an adaptor or wireless earphones.
