OnePlus, is one of the Chinese company’s has this week announced the launch of a new program, dubbed the ‘MP Early Access Program’, which is a very limited program that only open to owners of the OnePlus 3 and the popular OnePlus 3T smartphones. While it is designed to limit the effect of bugs on future releases of OnePlus’s own tweaked version of Android, OxygenOS. In fact, this is actually an extension of the already-available beta program, but one that looks to provide select users with an even earlier and less polished version of OxygenOS. Details on the early access, OnePlus is hoping that these select testers will be able to provide comprehensive information on how the early OxygenOS version runs and operates. With a view to ironing out any potential bugs which might have been missed during the company’s own testing rounds. Although OnePlus has already began offering beta versions of its OxygenOS, the general premise seems to be to assume that even the beta version is a smooth, clean as it can be when it rolls out – let alone the actual general release version. As aforementioned, the availability of this program is extremely limited with OnePlus noting that only a maximum number of 150 people can partake in the MP Early Access Program.
