New in smartphone market OnePlus is however standing out from the crowd with its latest product – the OnePlus One gaining great interest. And with the company just announced that have partnered with Waves Audio to bring their innovative MaxxAudio tech to the OnePlus One handset. Looks like, the Chinese manufacturer dedicated to bringing what is sees as a better Android experience than the one offered by big market giants.
OnePlus One is not only an impressive piece of hardware, but also breaking new ground by delivering a Cyanogen build of Android out of the box. With the previous OTA update, the team behind the smartphone brought about an enhanced camera joy by adding Clear Image technology and the ability to capture RAW photos as well. Now the guys at OnePlus have revealed that the February update will purely concentrate on delivering improved audio quality to One users. Partnered Waves Audio, a team behind the MaxAudio technology.
Talking about the MaxxAudio suite, which is an advanced piece of software that enables the production of deeper bass, clearer highs and a generally improved sound quality all around, such as louder volume levels and more immersive sound from speakers, headphones and connected Bluetooth devices for detailed and clearly defined listening experience.
Currently, the Waves MaxxAudio is present on the Oppo Find 7 smartphone and select Asus and Dell devices too. Tomer Elbaz, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Waves Consumer Division had this to say about the new partnership:

Cyanogen on the One have integrated MaxxAudio’s sound enhancements tech to deliver a truly amazing sound experience, as the company says. The new software will be directly integrated within the smartphone’s AudioFX for easy access and is custom fine-tuned for the OnePlus One’s speakers, Silver Bullet and JBL E1+ headphones. The application itself will offer 10 different equalizer presets along with full manual user control for bass, treble and headphone spaciousness.
