According to Bloomberg reports, with the success of its OnePlus One, the company also released OxygenOS for its customers, and CyanogenMod 12S download for One smartphones recently. Now that the OnePlus brand is seeking funds to expand the company in order to scale further, though, the Shenzen-based startup has sold as many as one million smartphones last year, and is currently busy working on its successor phone, the One Plus Two. Followed by the same report, the company is also looking to offer a cheaper and affordable smartphone this year as well. More details on OnePlus Two launch, alongside another budget-friendly smartphone after this break.
Peter Lau, CEO of OnePlus has noted that the One’s successor smartphone likely to be dubbed as OnePlus Two, and highly-expected in the Q3 of 2015, and the gadget will obviously bear suprior hardware specs than its predecessor One. Besides that, the Chinese company is also as said planning to release yet another mid-ranger of OnePlus series by the end of this year, and what it could be named is unknown. Details are really scarce on both the Two and entry-level model, but we can only expect them to be available in near future, and that too in 2015.
Alleged specs of the OnePlus Two points that it will be sporting a revamped design and the hardware front on the device is pretty much rumored, hinted that the OnePlus Two will focus on metal frame as opposed to the polycarbonate on the OnePlus One. And the Two is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor paired with a 3GB RAM, feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 16-megapixel primary snapper, 5-megapixel secondary snapper, and run on Oxygen OS – Android 5.0.x Lollipop out of the box.
If this is to be believed, then the OnePlus Two will be coming with a higher price tag, that is the reason why the company is also planning to introduce another smartphone with affordable pricing. Stay tuned!
