Pokemon Go Adds Traditional Chinese Language Feature [Latest Status Update]

Niantic has made available to download Pokemon Go 1.31.o for iOS and 0.61.0 for Android in its latest update version, followed by a hack gone live of IPA/APK files to the public. Pokemon Go’s incomplete feature is still its language support, but the recent update makes things a bit better by adding Traditional Chinese speech to the iPhone and Android versions of the poke game. Here are the details you never want to miss anyway.

Pokemon Go iOS / Android Update State

Although Niantic had to roll out the Pokemon Go game gradually on an international level, rather releasing all at once, and the expansion of the game’s available languages has unfolded in somewhat similar fashion. Along with the new language, the updated Pokemon Go brings a slight tweak to the scroll bar in the Pokemon selection screen. Beyond all the requites, ambiguous bug fixes and minor changes to that game’s next are on board to mark the rather minimal update.

The update also brings the Android Pokemon Go game version 0.61.0 to grab and of course the iOS Pokemon Go version 1.31.0 sits as a status. The most catching update comes on the heels of Pokemon from Johto finally making their way into the game, numbering close to 100. Prior that, another update came through that initially allowed players to listen to their own music while playing the game by fixing a known bug with Unity3D. It’s the engine that powers the game’s non-AR components.

Player-to-player battling and Pokemon trading was reportedly still in the works. With not imminent date set for those features to rollout just yet, though, Niantic has talked about them in past announcements. As for rest of the features that players have been utterly looking forward to, there is still no sign of legendary Pokemon at this time, though Ditto is finally out in the wild waiting to be caught, or more commonly, to troll players into thinking they’ve named a rare or even a legendary Pokemon, only for Ditto to transform back into its blobby pink self after the catching is said and done.

Pokemon Go Adds Traditional Chinese Language Now

The wait for Pokemon trading, battling, and more new Pokemon has not been entirely drab one, nevertheless; Shiny Magikarp and Shiny Gyarados have turned up in the wild now, and Pokemon Day saw Niantic unleashing a swarm of decked-out Pichaku in party hats on Pokemon Go-playing reveals for a limited time, marking the occasion with a fond callback to Pichaku’s Smart Brothers 64-days, when the classic Pocket Monster could be decked out in a variety of festive hats. Rest of the update features includes:
