Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE Feature Phone Leaked Out, Priced At Rs 1299

Reliance Jio said to be launching new feature phones with support for 4G VoLTE in the past, but today we have our first glimpse of the handset in leaked image. Rumored that Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE-enabled feature phones will be priced between Rs 999 and Rs 1500. Now, an anonymous tipster has outed an image of the said device with a price tag for Rs. 1299. Here are the complete details.

Exclusively, the first image surfaced was of the Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone that has shortcut keys to MyJio, Jio Live TV, Jio Video and Jio Music underneath the display. The leaked image of the purported was not accompanied by any other details. All that’s visible in the feature phone leaked imaged is the presence of four buttons below the screen and above the alphanumeric keyboard. As the phone has T9 keypad and D-pad in the middle, like what other range of feature phones have but doesn’t have incorporated with a touchscreen.

Nevertheless, the leaked Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone by Reliance has a dedicated button for flashlight (torchlight). Currently, we do not have any specifications regarding the phone. But according to the recent reports, Jio will launch these 4G LTE enabled phone with VoLTE support starting at INR 1000 and will run on Android operating system.

It was also suggested that Reliance Jio is expected to use Spreadtrum chipsets for its 4G VoLTE feature phones, though, the company was also said to be in talks with chip makers Qualcomm and MediaTek for a cheaper-cost 4G LTE processors. Tipped the presence of both rear and front-facing cameras on these Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phones, which the image confirms this piece of information. Since Jio 4G plans starts at low as Rs 149 per month offering unlimited voice-over-LTE calls, this could be very useful who make a lot of voice and video calls and need a cheaper phone with a keypad.
