Reports Suggests: Sony Xperia Z4 With Metal Unibody Gets Fingerprint Sensor On-Board

Sony Xperia Z4, the Japanese electronics has be once again in another speculated news channel, as it was planning to introduce its next flagship smartphone, also rumored abound, to be called Xperia Z3 Neo, not Z4. Now the latest rumor surfaced claiming that the Xperia Z4 model will dump the glass back and go all-metal. More details on Xperia Z4 fingerprint sensor and unibody can be checked after this jump.

It is also suggested that the Power button which is a centerpiece of the OmniBlance design Sony premiered with the original Xperia Z – is getting redesigned as well. Said it will be reportedly feature a fingerprint reader, which would be unusual at this point. As per the previously leaked live images, and cases, we haven’t seen such a big change though, this could be because those were for the Z3 Neo instaed on original Xperia Z4.

Unveiling date for Sony’s new phone is all set for April 20, which will be in just undercut LG‘s announcement of the G4 on April 28. So we will be having a big rival game here next week.

Just after Sony’s Xperia z4 or whatever it announces, then we have on April 23, Xiaomi‘s introduction of gadgets in line as well. Sony with a name of its choice is the next high-end Xperia – packs a 5.2-inch QHD/FHD screen, Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB of RAM, the usual 20.7MP camera and obviously theĀ  special IP68 waterproofing is always there.
