Xiaomi rumored to launch Redmi 4 with all metal-unibody design and fingerprint sensor on-baord and more. Today again it has been leaked in a new fashion. After showing its face on a Chinese certification site, a new image of the Redmi 4 retail box does appear to reveal more details regarding the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone. Here what the leaks speak about.
In addition to the Retail box, a teaser has also surfaced online predicting the Redmi 4 will be announced on Thursday, and will sport a metal-clad body.
Previous reports, I mean speculations points at August 25th launch date, and also reads ‘National full metal age’ hinting at the Redmi 4 will be a fully metal-coated smartphone. On the leaked retail box side, image reveals its specs and that includes its screen-size, CPU, RAM, camera, Storage and Battery package.
They go like this. The Redmi 4 will feature a 5.5-inch HD display, a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of memory space, 4100mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5MP selfie shooter at el.
While the TENAA listing although suggested that the Redmi 4 will be also coming with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage options. Other specifications includes Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based on MIUI 8 skin on top. Connectivity options tipped 4G VoLTE support, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. With 141.3×69.6×8.9mm the Redmi 4 has a 160-gram weight and will come in Gold and Silver colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is priced at CNY 699 (Rs. 7,000 approx.). Just after this launch, the Chinese smartphone maker is also planning to debut Mi Note 2, expected to be unveiled on September 2.
