The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is the same rumored device leaked back in January this year, now said to be unveiled this month. With all of the expected specs and pricing info alongside release date details spread the online web. Here’s everything we can speak about it right now.
Xiaomi has introduced Redmi Pro smartphone featuring a dual rear camera setup last year, it seems like to be launching its successor in the form of Redmi Pro 2 this year, by the end of March 2017.
Expected to feature a fullHD (1920×1080) resolution AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display and built with unibody metal design similar to its predecessor. But this time the latest second-generation Redmi Pro to come with a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC instead of Deca-Core Helio X20 / X25 processor found in its previous variant. In the past it was also rumored to pack a Snapdragon 660 chipset and said to be coming soon.
According to reports coming out via China sources, the device will be launched towards the end of this month. With that said, also suggests that there will be a dual 12MP Sony IMX362 primary camera, 25mm wide-angle lens, f/1.7 aperture and of course dual-tone LED flash. It should offer 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB memory configurations, depending on its budget. And respectively pack in a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging.
As per the latest info, the Redmi Pro 2 is expected to cost 1599 yuan ($230) for the base model with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB variant is said to be priced at 1799 yuan ($260). More on Xiaomi Products!
