Last year at IFA in September we witnessed the unveil of Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge variants, and expected to see the same but with a number 5 this year as well. Rumored that the Galaxy Note 5 is on the cards, ready to compete with the next generation iPhone (6s) from Apple, which is set to be announced this fall. Samsung was alleged to release not one but versions of Galaxy Note and Edge, estimated as Note 5 and Note Edge 5, which should have a curved-edge display. But according to the new reports, it’s meant clear that there won’t be any edge version of Galaxy Note 5 launch this year.
Speculations has that Samsung will only be announcing the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA 2015 this fall and won’t be listing the wraps off of the Galaxy Note Edge 5.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is said to feature a 5.89-inch (2560×1440) QHD AMOLED display and going to come with a battery package of 4100mAh unit. Powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7422 chipset and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top. Also claimed to get with it a S-Pen and supports 4G LTE and the Note 5 is expected to go with at just 7.9mm thickness.

Everything here you read are rumors and speculations, and no one here are pretty sure on what actually Samsung having with it for September launch date. So take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official confirmation. Stay tuned!
