Samsung Confirms Launch Dates For New Galaxy Note 8, Photo Leaked Accidentally

Get ready for the Galaxy Note 8 to come next month, Samsung‘s mobile chief has spilled the beans, expect for the exact launch date. For late August, As reported by Taiwanese outlet ePrice. There is another situation on the Galaxy Note 8, which said accidentally leaked by one of Samsung’s social media accounts. Here are the details.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 photo may have unfortunately been uploaded on the internet web. With a lot of attention being lavished on the Apple’s iPhone 8 and what it look like when it is announced in September, it is sometimes easy to forget that there is another flagship device on the horizon, simply assuming that everything we heard or looked at to this point is accurate.

This is the case with Samsung mobile chief DJ Koh, told reporters in Taiwan that it’ll unveil the new Note phone at the end of August. Rather stopped short of revealing the exact timeframe and city, but rumors point to August 23 or August 26 in New York. Those fit into Koh’s timeline.

The flagship is from Samsung, with the Galaxy Note 8 widely expected to be announced sooner rather than later. It has experienced a fair share of leaks of late, though not anywhere near iPhone 8 design levels, but the latest does appear to be a solid one after one of Samsung’s own Twitter accounts tweeted an image that might just have given us a good fair look at the unannounced device.

First and foremost, speaking about what the leaked tweet, came courtesy of Samsung Exynos, in which it mentioned the features afforded by its Exynos 8895 System-on-a-Chip, the came part that powers the Galaxy S8 and is expected to beat at the heart of the Note 8, too. An image which at first glance looks like the S8, but upon closer inspection appears to be missing the hardware buttons on the right edge that the Galaxy S8 has, such as the power and volume buttons.

It is likely possible that this is just a reference design used by Samsung for its high-end phones. Twitter user Ice Universe recently leaked an image showing what is claimed to be the Galaxy Note 8, and in that’s the same account that correctly leaked images of the S8 prior of its arrival earlier this year, we wouldn’t want to put any kind of pressure on whether this is legitimate or not.

Coming back to the first topic which we left behind in this article. Koh also told reporters that the Note 8 would g on sale starting in September through October, depending on country, while Koh did not reveal which countries would get the phone first, but nevertheless, you can expect it rolling out the same was past Samsung releases like the Galaxy S8, which saw launches in the US and Samsung’s home country South Korea before other parts of the world.

The Note8 is Samsung’s first opportunity to erase the Note 7’s debacle against that particular model. The August launch may put the Note 8 reveal ahead of its competitors like LG, which is expected to reveal the LG V30 on August 31, and Apple launching its next iPhone in September.
