New live images of the Samsung’s Galaxy A8 has been doing rounds on the Web today, and specifications of the puported smartphone was already been detailed in our previous post. Leaked photos of the what so called to be the Galaxy A8 confirms to have a fingerprint sensor on the Home button, making it the first Samsung A series phone to integrate such tech. Now that news surfaced from the Chinese seller Sunning Tesco, suggesting that they are already taking pre-orders for the Galaxy A8 smartphone starting today.
The Galaxy A8 is said to have a 5.7-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and the single-SIM varinat supports 4G LTE, which is powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 5430 Octa-Core (1.8GHz Quad A15 + 1.3 GHz Quad A7 ) with Mali T628 MP6 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and can further expandable via microSD card support (up to 128GB). The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI skin on top.
The Dual SIM Galaxy A8 variant also poses the similar specs like what the single SIM does but supports both the LTE and 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/ GLONASS and the rest of the other key features would be same, like the camera with 16MP rear sensor with LED flash and F1.9 aperture and a front-facing camera with 5-Megapixel selfie shooter and packs a 3050mAh battery. Release date timeframe for the Galaxy A8 is all set to go on sale in China from July 17. Pricing for the smartphone is said to be at 439 Euros (US$ 483 approx), according to the french website here.
