Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) version smartphone is official now, which comes equipped with the new Smart Glow and Turbo Speed Technology (TST) and much more features to check out.
Here are the complete details on what the Samsung‘s new version of Galaxy J2 features. You will find a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a screen of 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Under-the-hood, the J2 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor and graphics by Mali-400MP2 GPU.
The Galaxy J2 (2016) gets 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and it sports a dual SIM slot that supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS for location tracking.
On the photography department, the Galaxy J2 is found of 8MP rear–facing camera sensor with LED flash. For selfies, it carries a 5MP front-facing camera and it packs a 2600mAh battery.
Additionally, the Galaxy J2 (2016) model comes with the Smart GlowLED notification system that consists of an LED ring around the rear camera that can be customized for priority alerts of any app or contact. Up to four notifications can be set with customized colors. Interestingly, it also alerts users if they are running low on battery, internal memory space, or mobile data.
Users can also use the Smart Glow LED ring to position the camera for selfies with the Selfie Assist inclusion. The Smart Notifier app features allow customizable notifications.
Another feature called Turbo Speed Technology inside the Galaxy J2 promises superior device performance, including stock apps loading up to 40-percent faster than those devices with double the RAM. Samsung claims that it has rewritten native apps such as camera, gallery, contacts, etc. that are most frequently used by consumers.
The TST feature also proactively shuts down idle processes running in the background and debunk RAM memory using its intelligent system to ensure resources like processor free, ready to take on new tasks, moreover, extending faster in-class experience.
Last but not least, the newly introduced Galaxy J2 comes with Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max and S bike mode and will be available in Gold, Silver and Black colors.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) will go on sale at Rs. 9,750 from July 14 through offline and online channels across India. It will be also offered with 6 months of Airtel’s double data prepaid plan worth up to Rs. 4,500.
