The Galaxy Note 5 is indeed coming this August to get hands-on treatment and alongside it the edge variant of the Note, called Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is also rumored in the past and we were accostomed of it. But a dummy version of S6 Edge Plus enters the mainstream, hits online shelves in photos and that too compared with the Galaxy Note 4. Check it out right after this jump!
First of all the size of both the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 4 are quite similar, particulary in terms of height, but when you have a closer look at S6 Edge Plus, seems a bit narrower and ever so slightly shorter and slimmer than the Note 4.
The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2K) 1440p resolution screen and powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7420/Snapdragon 808 processor. With 3G of RAM, the S6 Edge Plus (SM-G928) will pose with a dual-edge curved screen on the same 5.7-inch diagonal, which is codenamed ‘Project Zen‘ internally, will feature a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB of internal storage space, a 16-megapixel primary camera with OIS, 4K video recording, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. And it will run Android 5.1.1 Lolipop with TouchWiz UI skin on top, and might come with an option to store RAW images.
Unfortunately, the Plus variant of Galaxy S6 Edge won’t be launching with a Stylus built-in and of course the Galaxy Note 5 either. Evident news and image of a dummy Galaxy S6 Edge Plus confirms its existence and when it gonna be hands-on is up to Samsung. Announcement date if any comes in between the launch of Galaxy Note 5, about Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, we’ll let you know through updates. Stay tuned!
