Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge Goes On Sale In India Starting At Rs 49900

As you know all by now that the Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 and its dual-curved edition of it, the Galaxy S6 Edge launched in India and starting April 10, both the flagships went on sale in the country. With a starting price at Rs 49,900 – the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are up for pre-orders on e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Amazon India, Infibeam and Snapdeal and too comes with best offers. Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in India are available in exchange schemes, screen-replacement offer, Payback points, and cash back offers among other. Currently, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are listed on Flipkart as Coming soon quote, but already gone on sale through and Snapdeal.

Both the Samsung S6 series phones are available in three storage options – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Prices for each and every variant are listed below in brief.

1. The Galaxy S6 is priced at Rs 49,900 for 32GB. For the 64GB you’ll need to pay Rs 55,900 and the 128GB model goes for Rs 61,900 respectively.

2. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge costs Rs 58,900 for 32GB, Rs 64,900 for the 64GB edge variant and the i28GB Galaxy S6 Edge for Rs 70,900.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Specifications

It flaunts a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with a pixel density of 577ppi, and is powered by an Exynos 7420 octa-core (2.1GHz quad-core+1.5GHz quad-core) chipset paired with 3GB of RAM.

Features a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 5-megapixel camera up front, 2,550mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode and wireless charging capabilities.

Connectivity options include LTE support, NFC, IR Blaster, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, wrapped under an overhauled TouchWiz UI.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge key hardware specs – is the the phone’s dual-curved display, and are nearly identical to the Galaxy S6, albeit with small changes. Display is the same, but the curves on both the sides and it is backed by a bigger battery package of 2,600mAh unit.
