Samsung Galaxy S8 Rumors: Next-Generation Galaxy S8 2017 To Come With AI Digital Assistant

Samsung to forget about the infamous Galaxy Note 7, is very much working hardly on its next-generation Galaxy S8 flagship. As it has today shared some details regarding the upcoming Galaxy S8’s digital assistant ‘AI’. With Pixel and the Pixel XL, the Google Assistant was exclusive for the two non-Nexus brands, it now seems Samsung working on its own digital assistant service for its 2017 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8. According to the latest report, Samsung is all set to introduce its own kind of AI digital assistant service as one of the key features of the forthcoming Galaxy S8 hardware. Also said to be open to developers, as Samsung recently acquired Viv Labs, the startup that created Siri for Apple’s iOS platform, which is now a part of the MacBook Pro too.

If Samsung is planning to implement artificial intelligence service for its new Galaxy S8, then, it could be versatile to see a big competition amongst Apple, Google and other segment as well. Reports from Reuters also speaks, “Samsung is looking to incorporate Viv into its Galaxy smartphones and expand voice-assistant services to home appliances and wearable technology devices.” Unfortunately, Samsung didn’t mentioned the specific features of the Viv AI digital assistant, but it did state that third-party developers will be able to integrate their services and intract with the assistant. Other suggests that the ne assistant might be oddly called Bixby.
