Samsung May Not Introduce The Galaxy S7 Edge+ Next Month At MWC 2016 [Reports]

Three new smartphones from Samsung was expected named “Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus” at an event in Bracelona next month of February 2016, but the scheduled release date timeframe for one of those handsets seems to be closed for an announcement, and that according to the new report. So the South Korean vendor only to announce Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at MWC 2016 keynote.

Specifications wise, recently a model of Samsung Galaxy S7 was spotted with 5.7-inch display and it was rumored that there will be 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch variants. Although the S7 and S7 Edge models looks similar to what the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are. The non-Edge variant would use a regular screen of 2.5D curved glass and the edge variant of S7 will apparently have a curved glass on either side of the hardware’s display. Was also planning to integrate Vivid Display for its upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship and the Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 Chipset also emerged in images.

The postponed Galaxy S7 Edge+ is a bigger version with 6-inch screen, but unfortunately it was dropped now, might arrive a few months later alongside the Galaxy Note 6 in September or October.

Nothing is clear at the far moment on whether Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will show its face at this years Mobile Word Congress, likely set for the dates between 22nd and 25th of February 2016.
