It looks like Samsung is still working on two new Tizen based handsets, as Tizen Experts reports that the second-generation Tizen Z1 successor on its way to debut. More details on rumored Samsung Z2 can be grabbed right after this jump.
Last year’s Samsung Tizen effort doesn’t turned out too maximum, but the manufacturer had some good results with Tizen-based smartwatches, but that is not what today’s news points, though, when it came to smartphones, Samsung Z series ended up and vaporized as it was brought as a real commercial model, the Z1. Two new Tizen-powered handsets are rumored to see the sunlight this year, and in the first up – we have here the so-called Z2, with some lower mid-range specs. Release time frame is suggested in the first half of 2015.
Key features on the Samsung Z2 will pack a HD 4.8-inch TFT-LCD display, 1GB of RAM, 32-bit quad-core SoC, and 2000mAh battery. It is alleged to will support LTE and run on new Tizen 3.0 UI.
Yet nother Samsung Tizen based smartphone that we heard about is somewhat different when we talk about the specs and slightly more capable phone, though, this one arrives without even a codename. Said to have a 4.8-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It will pack a 2,600mAh battery, 8-megapixel camera and an unlocked Tizen Store, 2GB RAM, 8MP camera onboard. Speculated that Samsung is rumored to be planning a global launch for this model, which this smartphone will find a wider audience and will be launched in Korea, USA, Russia, China, India, France, Malasia, South Asia and EU etc.
