Sony Teases Upcoming Xperia Z Smartphone With Advanced Focus For IFA 2015

Is it for Xperia Z5, Sony has started building up hype for this year’s IFA event by publishing a teaser on Twitter, that too suggesting a hybrid autofocus system for what is likely an upcoming smartphone. On September 2nd at IFA 2015, Sony is already scheduled to host an event where it is expected to introduce the next-generation Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact. Of course the teaser image is blurry, though a smartphone with greater focus is imminent.

Notably, what exactly it means by “Greater Focus” mentioned in the tweet, apparently indicates a phase detection system to comlement the more trival contrast based autofocus. Sony although integrated such mechanism with the newly announced Xperia M5, so it’s only natural that it makes it to the flagship.

Sony has tweeted through its official UK Twitter account alongside a photo with an announcement note that reads, Get ready for a smartphone with greater focus. All will become clear on 02.09.2015.” No idea on what actually Sony mentioned that word and sentence, and it’s unclear at the moment on what kind of device Sony will be unveiling at that time, but not exactly, the announcement suggests that the phone will come with an upgraded Exmor RS sensor and hybrid autofocus similar to what we aforementioned M5.

The Xperia Z5 rumored to come integrated with a fingerprint sensor, as the Power button has been redesigned for the same, which is also speculated to come powering a Qualcomm Snpdargon 810 SoC, 3GB or 4G of RAM, and the display will possibly be the QuadHD. Stay tuned!
