Sony Xperia Z4 Launches With 5.2-Inch FHD Display, Snapdragon 810 SoC In Japan

Sony Mobile’s latest flagship smartphone is official now, announced Xperia Z4 in its home country, Japan. Like the Z4 Tablet unveiled at Mobile World Comgress 2015, Z4 isn’t a dramatic departure from earlier Xperia devices like last year’s Z3. Successor is out already, but only been introduced for Japan. Sony quietly launches the Xperia Z4 in Japan

The Sony Xperia Z4 is a lightweight and slim with a powerful processor smartphone comes with a 2K brilliant display. With a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display, the Z4 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked 2GHz 64-bit processor, 3GB of RAM and it is a 6.9mm thick.

Specifications other than that the Xperia Z4 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and with LCD 1080p screen, it packs a Sony’s Omni balance design with glass back and aluminum frame. Sports an 20.7MP rear camera with 1/2.3? Sony Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, 4K video recording and a 5.1-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera with EXMOR R sensor and digital image stabilization.


By means it is an IPX5/IPX8 certified waterproof and dust-proof resistance phone, but it doesn’t have any covering for USB and 3.5mm jack like its predecessors. Interesting part here is that the Xperia Z4 flaunts Sony’s new LDAC audio compression codec that it promises to deliver high quality wireless music playback and HD music experience.


It supports 4G LTE /3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, MHL 3.0, NFC connectivity options and packs a 2,930 mAh non-removable battery.
