A week ago, Sony had silently announced the new Xperia Z4 in Japan as the flaghsip smartphone for this year in its hometown. The Xperia Z4 doesn’t bring any major changes, but basically an incremental update to the Xperia Z3. Now that, news surfaced suggesting that yet another Xperia Z4 variant is in works, to be launched globally, but as Xperia Z3+. However, later it was reported that the Xperia Z4 may not be the 2015 Sony Flagship. Note that, Sony will retail the Xperia Z4 outside Japan as the Xperia Z3+. Report comes directly from the Sony SCR30 Style Cover Window description stating support for the “Xperia Z4/Z3+”.
Not to mention, the Xperia Z4 will be prompted internationally as the Xperia Z3+ which will pack the same hardware on-board. The Sony Xperia Z3+ launch in select countries and is expected make it available in May.
