Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Launch: Expected Along With New Windows 10 Mobile Phones On October 6th

Microsoft has officially strated sending out invites to press to attend a Windows 10 hardware event to be held in New York City next month. So, October is the month which Microsoft decided to introduce the world with “some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices”, and the invites doesn’t explicitly state that a new batch of hradware will be announced, but a number of insider sources and recent speculation hints the event will witness a new batch of devices unveiled. For that we’ve to wait until October 6th.

The Microsoft’s invitation itself makes a number of references to Windows 10, but hugely expected to be hardware-centric. Could be Surface Pro 4, as well as the introduction of the rumored Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones powered by Windows 10 Mobile. With a new tablet device and two new handsets in the unveil list, it is also being reported that the software giant count one more hardware based announcement in the form of a new Microsoft Band. To compete with the rivals amongst Google, and in particularly versus Apple Watch.

However, Microsft has something new and fresh with it that’s ready to arrive from. Consumers looking to purchase a PC/tablet/smartphone will defintely want to pay attention to the Microsoft’s event.

Potential specs of the new Surface are scarce at best, but with the Surface Pro 3 showing its age, it’s likely that a processor refresh will be served up at minimum. Allegedly, still to see first unveiling at Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Microsoft has thus far struggled to make a complete breakthrough in the smartphone market dominated by iOS and Android-powered phones. If the specifications of the two devices have to be believed, then Microsoft could at last have a commercially successful smartphone range on its hands.

Apart from new hardware, Microsoft is said to take some time to discuss Windows 10 in a lot more detail. Fans interested in the future of the Microsoft’s smartphone and tablet range, then Oct. 6th is the official date to make a note of. Stay tuned!
