Vivo Launches X3S, X Shot, Y22 And Y15 Budget Android Smartphones In India [Report]

Just after launching Vivo X5 Max in India, the Chinese smartphone company has also unveiled four new Android smartphones – Vivo X Shot, Vivo Y22, Vivo Y15 and Vivo X3S.

All the above mentioned Vivo brand smartphones will go on sale at an affordable price range and the two new Vivo Y15 and Y22 will be available to buy starting Monday. Whereas the Vivo X3S and Vivo X Shot will go for sale next week with the prices as well.

Although the company also confirmed that its new Android smartphones can be purchased via physical retail stores and will not be available through online retailers.

Features and Specifications

Vivi Y15 is priced at Rs 8,000, it eatures a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone also includes 4GB internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1,900mAh battery. Vivo Y15 is a dual-SIM 3G smartphone, launched with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity options and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Vivo Y22 smartphone too goes with a 4.5″ FWVGA display and is powered by the same MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, but got a 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, packs a 1900mAh battery and its also a Jelly Bean runner. Priced at Rs 10,000, respectively!

Vivo X3S sports a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, packs a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, includes 16GB ROM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,000mAh battery.

The dual-SIM smartphone with 3G connectivity supports WiFi, Bluetooth and other software front. Runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and the price for this is unknown at the moment.

Vivo X Shot flaunts a 5″ Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and powered by a .26GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage, microSD card support, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,600mAh.

It’s an LTE-enabled smartphone supports WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Price is not allotted for this as well, but expected to be priced at sub-RS 30,000 range in terms when we talk about its software and hardware end.
