Vivo X5 Pro Alleged To Come Integrated With Eye Recognition Tech

It was Vivo X5Max that made a better hype in the smartphone market and now it looks like Vivo teasing its next successor, the X5 Pro. Purported render of the alleged phone getting leaked, and it’s time for a new teaser, as you can see it below. More details on the Vivo X5 Pro specs, features can be checked right after this jump.

The new teaser has emerged on Vivo’s official Weibo account and its tagline reads something like “The eye recognition equipped on the X5Pro is intelligent and secure. It can recognize the user eye’s unique vein pattern in order to achieve a high level of security.”

This time around it has been treated to more than just the counter of the X5Pro’s rounded corner. In fact, at the Weibo post, Vivo talking about this smartphone employing eye recognition technology, or Eye ID aka Iris Eye. Nevertheless, to work through its scanning, which Vivo claims is going to be more secure than any other authentication method, as the underlined point in the information is its sensor sees “can’t be copied.”

With a minimal list of features and specifications surfaced through the teased Vivo, which are metallic build, 2.5D glass display, 32MP capable front-facing selfie camera, phase detection, autofocus technology enabled primary camera, 3500mAh battery and a USB Type-C port. The Eye technology will be used both for securing the phone itself, but apparently you may be able to secure specific apps too.

No more details are available right now at the moment, yet the X5 Pro could get its official unveiling on May 7, as per some past rumors. And under the hood of all this Vivo X5Pro could sit a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset.
