After launching Vivo X5Max last year, the next generation of the company’s X5 series has been caught in the wild with leaks and rumors for a while now. The Chinese manufacturer has finally took the wraps off the new flagship, called Vivo X5Pro. Details can be found right here.
Specifications, especially of the Vivo X5Pro’s fall in line with past leaks. With 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection, the X5Pro flaunts a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, and the device packs a metal frame and speaker mesh which appears somewhat inspired by that of iPhone 6. Clever!
Under the hood, the X5 Pro from Vivo is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at quad-core CPU, paired with 2GB of RAM. Storage wise, the smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage which can further expandable via microSD card support.
Photography department on the Vivo X5Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and houses a 8MP front-facing snapper bears an image interpolation technology that allows it to capture 32MP images. It also integrated with an eye-recognition technlogy for enahnced security of the phone and its data stored inside. Proficient!
Software on the Vivo X5Pro runs on Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and it also backed by a 2300mAh battery. Connectivity options as usual goes with a dual-SIM offerings, 4G LTE networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB.
Expected price for the Vivo X5 Pro is doubted at $440, buit very soon, the the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo will announce it officially.
