iBall has launched the Slide i701, the company’s calling it the ‘world’s most economical Windows tablet.” With 7-inch IPS dipslay, it is powered by a 1.33 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor (Turbo Boost up to 1.83GHz). Tablet that is upgradable to Windows 10 later once available for primetime, coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It is backed by a 3200mAh battery, and connectivity it supports are 3G (via dongle), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, and microUSB. It comes with a 1-year Microsoft Office subscription, and 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage.

The iBall Slide i701 will come with brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor’s autograph on the rear panel, a free HDMI cable worth Rs. 699, and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs. 599. Finally the Slide i701 is priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available to buy via retail stores and e-commerce websites across India strating from May 21st.
