Xiaomi Mi6 leaks again, but this time alongside its bigger brother variant the Mi 6 Plus and that too with full specifications sheet. Here are the details.
Now, we have got our eyes on what originally the two Mi6 and Mi6 Plus variants to come with, the leaked sheet contains information about the smartphones features and hardware keys, highlighting some of the differences between the two upcoming smartphone variants. Witness now, just right below.
First and foremost speaking about the display sizes. With the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus having a larger 5.7-inch FHD 1080p screen, as opposed to 5.15-inch fulHD of Mi6. The Plus variant will have a 6GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB to 128GB UFS 2.0 storage, while the smaller Xiaomi Mi6 may contain either 4GB or even 6 GB RAM and a storage capacity of either 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of expandable microSD card support.
Majority of variations here points at the choice of camera department, with the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus sporting a 12-megapixel Somy IMX362 dual-rare camera module and the Mi6 only has a single rear camera setup comprised of a 19-megapixel Somy IMX400 sensor. The larger gets bigger battery package, like the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus brings with it 4500mAh unit compared to Mi6’s 3200mAh capacity, and of course, both the batteries will be embedded and thus, non-removable.
In fact the two new Xiaomi Mi6 and Mi6 Plus both the phones will have MIUI 8 custom software running on top of Android OS, though each is rumored to have different Google’s mobile operating system. With the Xiaomi M6 Plus may launch with Android 7.0 Nougat and the smaller Xiaomi Mi6 to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Under the hood, both the alleged smartphone by Xiaomi may be powered by Snapdragon 835, sport an 8-megapixel selfie front-facing camera, and have dual nano-SIM slots, will be carrier unlocked where available. Previous leaks although already shown some similarities between the Xiaomi Mi6 variants, also rumored fingerprint scanner in front on both of the new yet-unannounced phones. While the chassis of the Mi6 Plus is said to be made of metal and glass, though it has also been leaked with a more expensive ceramic variant, which may become available. Xiaomi will likely make an official announcement of the Xiaomi M6 and the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus on either April 11th or April 16th next month. (Xiaomi Mi6 Benchmarks Points)
Update x1: A new render also showed the Xiaomi Mi6 in white, sporting dual cameras at the back. But again, nothing is official as yet and even not confirmed by the Chinese company as though. It might be too longer before Xiaomi unveils both the devices and make all of the official hardware specs and features public. Stay tuned for more!
