It was the Xiaomi‘s 18K Mi MIX with edgeless display cuts price to $700, followed by another device coming in weeks, could be the Xiaomi Mi6. The device which Xiaomi is expected to announce in the near future, the Mi 6 has just been leaked again. This time the leaks showing of the yet-to-be-announced Xiaomi Mi 6 sketches. Also, we currently cannot conform these images are legit, of course, but they might be. If you look at the leaked phone, which does resemble the Xiaomi Mi 5 quite a bit from the front, while it’s a bit similar to the Mi 5s when you look carefully at its back, read on.
Going through these sketckes, the device seems to be made out of metal, so we can’t really be sure of that. But it still has the company’s Xiaomi logo on the back of the device, and you’ll notice a dual camera system there, while a dual-LED flash seems to be placed next to those camera sensors. The phone shows a Home button below the display, and assuming that this key is somewhat clickable, though, it is possible we’re looking at a capacitive key, similarly found on the OnePlus 3T, for example. In any case, that same key alteration can be inverted in MIUI, meaning that you can choose which one will be the back key, and which one will serve as an overview (multitasking) button. If you take a closer look at the leaked sketches of what so called of the Xiaomi Mi6, a USB Type-C port is placed on the bottom of this hardware, and is flanked by two speaker grills. The Power / Lock, Volume up and volume down buttons are all included on the right-side of this smartphone, and the back portion of the phone is curved, as it was on the Mi5 and Mi 5s.
Now that according to the latest info, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in two variants, a base-model and a special-edition ceramic variant, same as last year’s Mi 5 handset. Will continue this year as well. The base standard model is rumored to sport 4GB of RAM, while the ceramic variant could ship with 6GB of RAM on the inside. Both devices are said to come with the Sanpdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, though a third variant with the Helio X30 64-bit deca-core SoC was also mentioned in some rumors. Lots of weird rumors surfaced lately, so it’s kind of difficult to pinpoint legit ones, but for sure we hope that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will launch in the next couple of weeks, before Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ launch.
