With an official teaser Xiaomi wants its fans to believe the 6.4-inch Mi Max phablet can easily fit into their pockets, which is soon to be launched. Gets teased jsut before its official announcement today.
Last week, when we came across a handful of leaks showing off what the Xiaomi’s Mi Max featuring a msasive 6.4-inch screens, also leaked front panel and the press render, which have alraedy confirmed the screen-size and design. Now, Xiaomi has relaesed a new teaser image revealing a small portion of the upcoming phablet, Mi Max. With the teaser hands-on, Xiaomi seems to make a point that despite the 6.4-inch display, it can comfortably fit inside your pocket.
Previous leaks although shown the Mi logo on the top left, and the same proved with this new teaser image as well. The phablet shows up the brand-new Baymax-style design, comprises of the sensors, earpiece and camera arrangement on the front. It also appears the Mi Max to get the chamfered edges with metal finish, but the bezels on the side are not as thin as found in Xiaomi Mi5. It seems Xiaomi is focusing someting for those users who prefer large screen devices, to make a cmfortable space with 6.4-inch Mi Max.
On Weibo, Xiaomi had already conducted an online poll to name the upcoming phablet. Chosen Mi Max, from four options that includes, Xiaomi Max got maximum number of votes, also mentioned that the Mi Max will be a fully-fledged new product completely different from its current Mi and Redmi line. With that said, Xiaomi phablet range will also see all screen-sizes between 4.7-inch to 7.9-inch.
Specs-wise, the device which we are accompained to feature a 6.4-inch display garnered with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) screen resolution, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset. Expected to see the launch date time rrame next month, which could be priced somewhere close to $500 (roughly around Rs 33,000).
