Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Goes On Sale In China With QHD Display, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB RAM Starting May 12

The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has finally launched Mi Note Pro with Quad HD display in China, which will go on sale on May 12. With a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, the Mi Note Pro is paired with a beefy 4GB of RAM and to say some, you have to check below.

Xiaomi announced two new high-end phablets – the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro – back in January 2015, while Mi Note went on sale shortly after, but the professional version of it, dubbed Mi Note Pro wasn’t made available in the China market. Today, Xiaomi has officially made an announcemnent when that will be up for grabs.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro will hit China on May 12th. Priced at CNY 2999 which translates to US $483 respectively. More details regarding the new Mi Note Pro specs, hardware keys and features can be checked below.

The Mi Note Pro display goes official with a 5.7-inch screen with QHD resolution and with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The QHD display has been made by Sharp/JDI and offers 1400:1 contrast ratio and “dynamic contrast adjustment” under sunlight. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset featuring a quad-core Cortex-A57 CPU clocked at 2GHz and a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU, Mi Note Pro claims to have solved the overheating problems caused by Snapdragon 810 SoC with a clever thermal disribution design.

Storage on the Mi Note Pro is 64GB of built-in, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM to easily handle the MIUI 6 based Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phablet with MIUI v6 custom ROM has also been tweaked to support the native 2560×1440 pixels resolution.


Camera department, when talked about on the Mi Note Pro is a 13MP with a six-element lens, OIS, a Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor, Qualcomm 14-bit image processor, and a dual-tone LED flash from Philips. On the front, it fluants a 4MP camera for capturing Selfie-centric with large 2-micron pixels shots and HD video calls.

It supports LTE Cat. 9 networks with download speeds up to 450Mbps. It is backed by a 3090mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology, which charges the handset by 70 percent in an hour.
