The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi announced that the highly-anticipated Xiaomi Mi4 FDD-LTE will be available starting next Tuesday, December 16.
News comes with a treat and the original Xiaomi Mi4 is integrated with a FDD-LTE modem which is mostly unusable outside China. The new FDD modem will now support to work on China Unicom along with almost all international 4G networks.
Officially the white 16GB Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone will be available to buy at a price of CNY 1,999 or about $320. And the 64GB black FDD-LTE version still has no initial release date or price announced.
The new Xiaomi Mi4 other than the alternative modem will remain unchanged. The flagship smartphone will however ship with a top-end specs, sporting a 5-inch Full HD display, packs a Snapdragon 801 SoC and 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The Xiaomi MI4 has also a 8MP Front Camera and 13MP Sony Rear Camera and 3080mAh battery capacity on board.
In fact on the TENAA specs we can see that the new Xiaomi Mi4 will work with GSM, TD-LTE, GSM and WCDMA too.
