Xiaomi Mi6 And Mi6 Pro Retail Box & Specs Leaks Out, Shows Up 30MP Camera Inside

It is expected that Xiaomi is all set to be launched Mi6 and Mi6 Plus sometime this month, rumored April 16 release date, which is a due factor for the smartphones to unveiled on that timing. But today’s leak differs more than what we were accompanied with the previous speculations of the upcoming top-end flagship devices. Here are some of the details to discuss on.

First thing first, the Xiaomi Mi6 is far expected to debut in April, and the phone’s retail packaging just surfaced, claims to show up two images. One of those images revealing the Xiaomi Mi6 packaging, though the specs on those boxes leaked recently are not identical, which apparently leads us to believe we’re looking at retail packaging of both the Mi6 and the Xiaomi Mi6 Pro (or whatever the Chinese company plans to call the more powerful variant of the device).

As both of those variants were heavily rumored and leaked in the last couple of weeks. What is allegedly the Mi6’s retail box comes with a full specsheet on the back, and already drawn to that 3000 number. Though we’ve learned enough to know that in this context the number 3000 in Chinese stands for a 30MP camera, and that’s a lot of pixels.

Xiaomi Mi6 Pro Retail Box Shows up its 30MP camera
Now, if you take a look at the first uploaded image below, you’ll get a white box which seemingly belongs to the Xiaomi Mi6, a smaller variant of the two Mi6 smartphones. The package shows up the back of the box, suggesting that Xiaomi Mi6 will come with a 3200mAh battery and 3GB of RAM on the inside.

Under-the-hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit Octa-Core processor, which also been listed on the box. There’s a 12-megapixel rear-facing snapper. A 4-megapixel Ultra Pixel camera is listed as the Xiaomi Mi 6’s front-facing shooter, reveals the phone will offer support for 4G LTE, will ship with a display size with a 2.5D curved glass on to of it.

If this is the actual smartphone, the second image probably shows off the Xiaomi Mi6 Pro packaging. It suggests the phone will sport a 5.15-inch display, as rumors claim, and a SD835 Qualcomm SoC, clocked at 2.45GHz. This same phone leaked its retail package also claims the Mi6 Pro will have a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while a 30-Megpaixel OIS camera will be placed on its back. In any case, the box also says that an 8-megapixel selfie camera module will be implemented on the front-side of the Mi6 Pro, and the device will ship with a 4000mAh battery.

Currently, we haven’t heard that particular detail about the Mi6 or Mi6 Pro as yet, but said these. Sony used a 24.8MP sensor in the Xperia Z5 generation and the XZ. The Japanese company switched to a lower-less 19MP image for the XZs and XZ Premium. So a 30MP certainly means either tiny pixels or a relatively huge sensor with implications that brings on lens design and body dimensions.

Alternatively, if this is the case then there could be 2x15MP dual camera sensor on Mi6 or Mi6 Pro, possible?

Also, we’re expecting Xiaomi to introduce their all-new flagship next month. In addition to the leaked specs which we already talked about, the Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to ship with Android Nougat out of the box, with Xiaomi’s own custom MIUI 8 OS on top of it. Stay tuned for more!
