Xiaomi Mi6 Rumors: Said To Come In Three Variants, Two Different Chipsets

New information surfaced regarding the yet-unannounced Xiaomi Mi6. Predicted that the next-generation Mi6 will be in one of the best smartphones in 2017. As it has also rumored that the Xiaomi Mi6 will be launching in three different variants using two different chipsets on-board under-the-hood. Here are the details.

According to the Weibo user’s report, the cheapest version of the Mi6 will come equipped with a Helio X30 processor costs CNY1,999 (or about $290), the second model of Xiaomi Mi6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset and have a higher price point of CNY2499 (approx. $360). There’s a third one with higher and most expensive unit of Mi6 smartphone with a Snapdragon 835 SoC – expected to pose a dual curved display similar to what Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge (priced at CNY2999/$434).

The Chinese company’s highly-anticipated flagship Xiaomi Mi6 featured in tech grapevine quite a lot of late. Now, fresh leaks indicate that the device could be unveiled in three variants at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017), and shipping might begin in April.

However, the price info aforementioned should not take into consideration, though. Because, they are based on speculations and prediction that pointing the Xiaomi Mi6 to have. Also tipped that the dual curved screen variant to be called the Mi 6Pro. As for the previous rumors, Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to launch with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the Mi 6Pro with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. Other big highlight of the Mi6 smartphone would be the dual-rear camera setup, which has not official confirmation about.

Rumored specifications for the Xiaomi Mi6 also hints at Android 7.0 Nougat based on top of MIUI 9 skin. The handset packs a larger 4000mAh battery with Quick Charging 4.0 support. While it’s also said to sport a Home button with a built-in fingerprint scanner and to be available in Black, White, and Blue color options.
