ZTE India has sent out invites for the launch of a new smartphone that could be Blade A2 Plus with a massive 5000mAh battery package on February 3rd.
If that’s the case then the ZTE Blade A610 Plus (aka Blade 2 Plus) would be the latest to be launched as a rival to the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo P2. ZTE teased an image that only says something is “Coming Soon”, which redirects our expression to the media invites for a launch event in Delhi on the given date, where it will be introducing a new top-end handset.
Although, ZTE has kept details of the new smartphone under warps, but going through the teasers and reports, the company behind Blade A610 Plus is likely to debut it on the official release timescale. What’s more we have received is described below.
According to new report, the upcoming ZTE’s smartphone in Blade series will be offering a better than ever battery power, which is rumored and predicted to be of a 5000mAh capacity unit. With the partial teaser on the invitation is likely to point at it to be the Blade A610 Plus. Announced last year, the USP of the smartphone is the battery that is said to last for about three days.
Now that the teaser image of the device only showing off the metal body design, a square shaped fingerprint scanner, and a LED flash equipped below the camera lens. Sachin Batra, CMO, ZTE Terminal India on Twitter however said that the new ZTE phone will be launched next week that will have an impressive design and battery. Eager for the launch?
By the way, this same smartphone was originally introduced last year in China, Blade A2 Plus with 5,000mAh battery. Other key features of the A610 Plus includes all of the competitor smartphones aesthetics and architecture, the only primary aspect to find itself the best smartphone will be its power-packed 5000mAh battery backup. When compared to Redmi Note 4, it features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1080p) display with 2.5D Curved Glass, 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 CPU, 64GB of storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Available in three variants “2GB RAM + 16GB storage”, “3GB RAM + 32GB storage” and 4GB RAM +64GB storage” in India, and the Redmi Note 4 price in India varies depending on its configuration. Armed with 4100mAh battery, fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera of 13MP and has a 5MP front-facing selfie shooter. It runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
With Lenovo P2, you will get a decent unibody design and has a 5.5″ FHD Super AMOLED screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. It too packs a 5100mAh battery with support for reverse charging, that can also be used as a Power Bank to charge other smartphones. Connectivity options these days all smartphones adds support for 4G LTE with VoLTE, OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and NFC support.
