New Nokia Camera App Reveals Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus And Other 2018 Models

Just after the first Nokia-branded Android Go smartphone information emerged, a partial list of HMD Global’s Nokia phones for 2018 has been spotted. Otherwise, Nokia Camera app has initially revealed upcoming Nokia models of 2018.

The news has also been circulating on the web suggesting the Nokia Camera app has revealed that the Finnish manufacturer is preparing the Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus alongside the recently rumored Android Go-based Nokia 1.

The news also claims that they were also tipped to see the launch of other Nokia smartphone that could debut in 2018. This comes in the midst of the reports highlighting the forthcoming announcements of the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 (2018), and the Nokia 9.

A new discovery of the latest Nokia phones has emerged after unzipping the APK file of the Camera app. This includes Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus, neither of the two had ever been leaked up until now. Although, the new app components also point at the rumored Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018), Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia 1. It’s unclear at the moment on whether HMD will official unveil all the listed handsets at a single event or take time to announce throughout the year.

However, the new finding suggests there are at least five new upcoming Nokia phones. Speculations point that Nokia 7 Plus, being the bigger variant of last year’s Nokia 7, could apparently come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. But the unearthed Nokia 4 is likely to be an all-new offering with a fresh set of specifications.

It was last month, A Russian tipster Eldar Murtazin hinted that HMD launching the Nokia 1 as part of Google’s Android Oreo (Go) edition program in March. Specs-wise, the rumored handset is said to have an HD IPS display, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage. Furthermore, it has also been claimed to carry a price-tag of RUB 5,990 (roughly INR 6670).

The launch of Nokia 1 is said to happen in March, HMD recently came to the sight of planning the announcement of the flagship Nokia 9 at an event in China on January 19. The top-end Nokia phone is expected to join the stage with the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 (2018) upgraded models.
