Extreme competition for Apple’s range of MacBook Pro hardware it seems. The portable computer, Microsoft Surface Book features a 13.5-inch 276 ppi PixelSense display just like the Pro 4 slate, albiet with two critical distinctions – the display resolution on the Surface Book is 3000 x 2000 pixels, with the panels being optically bonded, which should make for better display than the new Surface Pro 4 tablet.

The main focus of the hardware will be provided by Inte’s sixth-generation (Skylake) Core cpocessors, where the Microsoft Surface Book is accompained by 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and also present is the fully-integrated NVIDIA GeForce GPU if you really wanna push the machine, but at the cost of sme battery juice of course.
In a similar fashion to the recently unveiled Surface Pro 4, consumers will also be able to configure the Microsoft Surface Book to have 1TB SSD drive. For one, that includes a backlit keyboard. There’s also deeper keys, with 1.6mm of travel. Microsoft calling it “perfect” and saying it’ll type almost silently. Beneath all that, the Surface Book includes a glass trackpad with five points of touch sensitivity.
Although the Microsoft Surface Book machine carries an 8MP main rear-facing camera, acalble of 1080p video recording. On the front its accompained with a 5-megapixel sensor for Skyping and other purposes, like capturing best selfie shots.
If you want to use Microsoft Surface Book as a tablet, then the maker is talking about it as a “digital clipboard” will work with Microsoft’s Surface Pen stylus as well. The keyboard on Microsoft Surface Book is actually detacable and one of its defining areas is its loyalty to how other prodcts function. Microsoft is hoping will put in class to its own when it comes to being a truly portable laptop computer. The Windows-maker has also thrown in a glass trackpad with “5 points of touch.” No fingerprint scanner? It’s not like that the Surface Book has instead opted for a built-in iris scanner supported for use with Windows Hello.
The Microsoft Surface Book dock also included. Compatible with the new Surface Dock which brings an additional 2 USB 3.0 ports and an SD card slot as well. Surface Pen support is always there like on Surface Pro 4.
